In a commendable effort to raise awareness about snakebite identification and management, two dedicated students from the Faculty of Forestry, Hetauda, Mahima Paudyal and Nischal Bhatta, organized an informative session at Sramik Secondary School. The program, held on the 29th of Asar, proved to be highly beneficial for the 35 attending students from classes 7 and 9.

With the objective of empowering young minds with essential knowledge, Mahima Paudyal and Nischal Bhatta conducted an engaging school awareness program on snakebite identification and management. The session aimed to equip students with the necessary skills to identify venomous snakes and provide immediate first aid in case of a snakebite incident.
During the interactive program, the forestry students shared valuable insights into the characteristics and behaviors of venomous snakes commonly found in the Hetauda region. They emphasized the importance of early identification and educated the students on various snakebite management techniques, including proper wound cleaning, immobilization of the affected limb, and seeking immediate medical assistance.
