Preparations are underway for the much-anticipated National Congress 2025, scheduled to be held from October 13 to 16, 2025, at the College of Natural Resource Management (CNRM), Sindhuli. Organized by IAAS Nepal Local Committee Sindhuli, this four-day mega event will run under the central theme “From Policies to Progress: Advancing Agriculture through Innovation.”

The Congress is envisioned as a premier national gathering for agriculture and allied sciences, bringing together students, young professionals, researchers, and policymakers from across Nepal. With agriculture being the backbone of the nation’s economy, this Congress aims to bridge the gap between policies and practical implementation by promoting innovation, dialogue, and collaboration.
Throughout the event, participants will engage in a wide range of activities including training sessions, workshops, report presentations, the IAAS General Assembly, and high-level expert panel discussions. These sessions are designed to provide a platform for sharing knowledge, presenting research outcomes, and discussing strategies to tackle the pressing challenges faced by Nepal’s agricultural sector.
In addition to the formal programs, the Congress will also facilitate informal networking opportunities, enabling participants to build meaningful connections, share experiences, and explore future collaborations. Organizers believe that these interactions will strengthen bonds between young agriculturists and professionals, paving the way for collective innovation-driven solutions.
IAAS Nepal LC Sindhuli has expressed confidence that the Congress will attract strong participation and deliver significant outcomes. With an expected wide outreach, the event is set to highlight how agriculture can be transformed through innovation, ensuring sustainability, food security, and resilience in the years to come.
As the date approaches, excitement continues to grow among students and professionals who see this Congress as a golden opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to advancing Nepal’s agricultural progress.
