One-Day Training on Liquid Fertilizer and Organic Pesticide Production Concluded || Krishi Vines ||

With the objective of promoting awareness through agricultural modernization and research, the organization Krishi Vines, in collaboration with DoREX, conducted a one-day training program on the production and application of liquid fertilizer and organic pesticides on Friday, Jestha 16. The event took place at the Ward Office of Rapti Municipality Ward No. 7, Birendranagar.


The training was facilitated by expert trainer Mr. Chandra Prasad Adhikari. The program was conducted in two phases: theoretical and practical. In the first phase, theoretical knowledge was delivered using PowerPoint slides via projector, focusing on how to produce liquid fertilizer and organic pesticides from locally available plants such as Asuro, Guava, Neem, Chillies, Garlic, Titepati, Banmara, and others. In the second phase, participants were taught the practical methods of making liquid fertilizer and pesticides using leaves and stems from various plant species.


The event saw participation from 42 individuals, including 35 farmers from Ward No. 7 of Rapti Municipality and 7 members of Krishi Vines. Trainer Mr. Chandra Prasad Adhikari emphasized the importance and utility of liquid fertilizers and organic pesticides in reducing environmental pollution, maintaining ecological balance, and freeing agricultural production from chemical toxins.

The program was chaired by the Program Coordinator of Krishi Vines Ms. Unisha Aryal and hosted by Ms. Kritika Kandel, Secretary of Krishi Vines.
